Country & Western Dance Lessons Now Offered Weekly

Photo – (l-r) Fred Dodson and Glenna Gould enjoyed the fruits of their labor at the recent Swing on the Square dance contest. The pair is now teaching Country & Western dance lessons at the Price Center weekly.

Fresh on the heels of their Swing on the Square dance contest successes, Glenna Gould and Fred Dodson have agreed to teach an ongoing dance class Monday nights at the Price Center in downtown San Marcos from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

The pair dances regularly in the area and came to the Center last month to participate in classes in preparation for the annual Swing on the Square events. Fellow classmates liked their style and skills so much they and asked them to start teaching a class.  The couple will focus on traditional Country & Western Music and accompanying moves along with some line dancing steps as well.

All ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. A $5 donation per couple is requested. For more information about the class please call Glenna Gould directly at (830) 832-8610. For more information about the Price Center and other ongoing activities, please call (512) 392-2900 or visit price-center.org
