Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – Due to the continued impact of severe winter weather, Hays County offices and parks will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Dangerous travel conditions throughout the region persist along with bitterly cold temperatures and predictions of another round of rain tonight.
Additionally, many throughout the region are experiencing intermittent power outages.
Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra said, “This combination of freezing temps, icy roadways, and inconsistent power lead the emergency management team to make the call to close our operations another day.”
