CTMC Annual Stars Of Texas Gala Honoring Bruce and Gloria Ingram

With Grammy Award Winners Diamond Rio
Plans are underway for Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) 23rd annual Stars of Texas Gala. Hays County’s premiere black tie event will take place on Sunday, October 11 at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center.
In addition to gourmet dining and a unique silent auction, this year’s gala will feature entertainment by Grammy Award Winner Diamond Rio. The band has been named the Vocal Group of the Year six times by the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
Diamond Rio has sold more than 10 million albums, earning three platinum and five gold records.
The event will pay a special tribute to Bruce and Gloria Ingram. With their concrete manufacturing business, community involvement and generous philanthropic gifts, the couple has left a lasting footprint on San Marcos and Texas. The Ingram’s recently donated $1.1 million to CTMC to purchase a second interventional cardiac catheterization lab, allowing more patients to receive life-saving cardiac care close to home.
Gloria Ingram was a member of CTMC’s very first gala committee and has served on the CTMC Foundation Board for more than twenty years.
“The Ingrams have bolstered our community through their charitable spirits and dedication to those in need,” said CTMC Foundation Board Chairperson Celena McGuill. “Through the years, they’ve provided ongoing support to the hospital, and we are pleased to honor Bruce and Gloria at this special event.”
Each year, the Stars of Texas Gala supports service and technology expansions that keep CTMC on the leading edge. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Ingram Heart Center at CTMC.
Tickets to the Gala cost $200. To purchase tickets, or for sponsorship information, visit ctmcgala.com.
