CTMC Countdown To 33rd Annual HealthCheck Begins

SAN MARCOS, TEXASThe countdown is on; there is less than one week until the 33rd annual CTMC HealthCheck. Join us Tuesday, April 23, at the Embassy Suites San Marcos Hotel Spa and Conference Center from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Hays County’s largest health fair.

Known for providing discounted health screenings, the 2019 HealthCheck allows participants to receive more than $500 worth of important tests for just $30. Walk-in registration and blood draws will be available until 10:00 a.m.

The $30 comprehensive screening panel includes:

  • Complete Metabolic Panel (screening for glucose, renal and liver disorders);
  • Lipid Panel (cholesterol with HDL/LDL breakdown, triglycerides), and;
  • Complete Blood Cell Count (white blood cell, hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelets).

Several additional screenings will be available for $15 each including:

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone
  • Hemoglobin A1C
  • Vitamin D
  • Hepatitis C

Carotid Artery Disease (CAD) and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) will be available for $30 each but require the participant to meet qualifying criteria.

Throughout the event, participants can undergo numerous FREE screenings from CTMC and other exhibitors. Amongst others, expected screenings and assessments include: COPD, dry eyes, infant development and massages. For a full list of free screenings offered, visit www.CTMCHealthCheck.com.
