SAN MARCO, TEXAS—Central Texas Medical Center Home Health earned the SHPBest Superior Performer of 2017 award by Strategic Healthcare Programs after reaching an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all SHP clients.
“We are very excited to receive this honor,” said Brenda Garrett, Director of CTMC Home Health. “A patient satisfaction award is one that we always strive to earn. Providing the best care for our patients is our primary concern and being named a SHPBest Superior Performer shows that our continued efforts pay off.”
The annual SHPBest program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high quality service to their patients. SHPBest award recipients are determined by ranking the overall score for all SHP Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Health Care Survey (HHCAHPS) clients, which includes over 4,500 home health agencies.
SHP focuses its efforts on identifying and recognizing organizations that have made patient satisfaction a priority and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.
“CTMC is proud of the outstanding care that our Home Health team offers its patients and thrilled that it is being recognized by SHP for something as important as patient satisfaction.,” said Anthony Stahl, CTMC President/CEO. “Access to premium healthcare while in the comfort of their own home is invaluable to patients’ recovery.”
CTMC Home Health is one of three members of the Adventist Health System that achieved this standing in 2017. Gordon Home Care in Calhoun, GA and Shawnee Mission Medical Center Home Health in Shawnee Mission, KS also earned the honor.
