San Marcos, Texas – Because of their academic achievements, community involvement and future career goals, 10 area students were awarded with a scholarship from Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) at a reception on May 16.
Each of the following high school seniors received $1,000 to be applied to tuition, books and/or living expenses during their first year in college.
As evidence of its efforts to extend its mission beyond caring for patients, CTMC has been awarding scholarships to area high school seniors since 1997.
“Providing these scholarships year after year is one of our annual highlights at CTMC,” said CTMC President/CEO Anthony Stahl. “We are pleased to award these funds to such deserving high school seniors to assist with their college careers and wish them all a prosperous future.”
