CTMC NAMED A ‘GREAT PLACE TO WORK IN HEALTHCARE’

CTMC NAMED A ‘GREAT PLACE TO WORK IN HEALTHCARE’

Becker’s Hospital Review names Adventist Health System, which includes CTMC, among ‘150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare’

Adventist Health System, which includes Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) has been recognized for being a great place to work in health care by Becker’s Hospital Review.

“We are honored to be recognized as a great place to work in health care. Employee engagement is a top priority for our organization and we understand the importance of fostering an engaged workplace that allows each employee the opportunity to extend the healing ministry of Christ to the patients we serve,” said CTMC CEO/President Sam Huenergardt.

The health care organizations on the list were selected by the Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team based on workforce-centric awards received, benefits offerings, wellness initiatives, and efforts to improve professional development, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and a sense of community and unity among employees.

In honoring Adventist Health System, Becker’s Hospital Review noted that “the system offers a tuition reimbursement program, employee wellness programs, company-paid flu shots on campus, and cafés with healthy menu options, among other benefits.”

Becker’s Hospital Review also noted that Adventist Health System is a four-time consecutive winner of Gallup’s Great Workplace Award for creating an engaged workplace.
