CTMC Team Members Raise Over $70,000 In Annual Giving Campaign

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS Central Texas Medical Center employees donated more than $70,000 to local charities in the annual Spring Into Giving campaign that ended last month.

A record 26 team members pledged $1,000 or more during this year’s campaign. Each year, CTMC team members can pledge a portion of their earnings to support various causes.

“CTMC team members give so much of themselves to the patients we serve each day,” said CTMC President/CEO Anthony Stahl, “and their financial generosity during Spring Into Giving each year speaks to how much they care about this community and their CTMC family.”

This year, team members had eight choices for where their money went, including an option for whichever cause is determined to have the greatest need.

The Employee Assistance Fund, which supports team members going through unspeakable hardship, such as a house fire, received the most donations.

  • Employee Assistance Fund – $21,074.38
  • Greatest Need – $20,887.58
  • CTMC Mission Trips – $12,118.10
  • Emergency Cancer Fund – $5,121.60
  • Emergency Health Care – $4,231.74
  • Habitat for Humanity – $2,460.00
  • Community Resources – $2,450.50
  • The United Way – $2,231.58

Two-hundred and fifty-nine team members contributed to the campaign exceeding the 2019 goal by over $5,000.

In the 19-year history of the Spring Into Giving campaign (formerly known as Seasons of Sharing), CTMC team members have donated nearly $900,000 to nine different charities.
