Residents can go to the San Marcos Discovery Center, 430 Riverside Drive, on April 7 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for a great selection of native plants, herbs and vegetables for their garden. Admission is free for all ages.
Native plants use less water and can handle our hot Texas summers better than non-native species. Discovery Center staff and volunteers will be available to help you pick the perfect plant to bring butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.
All proceeds from the sale benefits the Discovery Center’s Native Plant Program.
