Discovery Center Holds Liquidation Plant Sale

Discovery Center staff and volunteers will be available to help you pick the perfect plant to bring butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.

Come to the San Marcos Discovery Center, 430 Riverside Drive on May 13 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for a great selection of native plants for your garden. This will be the final sale until Oct. 14 with all plants sold at a discounted rate. Admission is free for all ages.

Native plants use less water and can handle our hot Texas summers better than non-native species. Discovery Center staff and volunteers will be available to help you pick the perfect plant to bring butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.

All proceeds from the sale benefits the Discovery Center’s Native Plant Program. For more information, call the Discovery Center at 512.393.8327.
