Downtown Buda Holiday Sip & Stroll To Be Held In Historic Downtown Buda

“This event is Downtown Buda’s premier event featuring Buda as a retail destination.” Main Street Program Manager Maggie Gillespie stated.

Tickets are now available for the Downtown Buda Holiday Sip & Stroll to be held in Historic Downtown Buda on Friday, December 1, from 5 – 8 p.m.

This new premier event is presented in partnership between the Buda Downtown Merchants Group and Buda Main Street Program. Only 250 tickets will be available for this magical evening on Main Street.  Tickets are $25 each pre-sale and $30 at the event. This event is 21+ only.

The evening event will highlight a dozen locally owned shops on Main St. from Old Town Buda to shops located in the Buda Mill & Grain Development. Ticket holders will stroll through our downtown shops tasting a variety of spirits, along with sampling menu items from some of downtown’s partner restaurants. Ticket purchases also include a commemorative glass, downtown goodies, entertainment, and more.

In addition to all of the festivities held during the Sip & Stroll, ticket holders have the opportunity to earn a complimentary commemorative Historic Downtown ornament created by a local artist and curated by Assemblage Contemporary Craftsman Gallery.

Those who donate $10 or more will automatically receive an ornament and all proceeds will go towards Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts for a Texas Main Street City affected by the storm; an effort supported by the Buda Downtown Merchants Group and the Main Street Program Advisory Board.

“This event is Downtown Buda’s premier event featuring Buda as a retail destination.” Main Street Program Manager Maggie Gillespie stated. “We have everything here from boutiques, to an art gallery, home goods store, bike shop, antique shops and vintage shops. We have so much to offer and are proud to show off our downtown.”

Karlyn Ellis, Buda Downtown Merchants Group President stated, “It is a great opportunity to go on a date or visit with friends. We invite you to rediscover some of the shops you have not visited in a while or discover some of the newer shops that you may not have known were here. When you are done, you can stick around and have dinner in our growing restaurant scene.”

Downtown Buda Sip & Stroll kicks off Budafest weekend by highlighting businesses located in historic downtown. To purchase tickets, please visit www.downtownbuda.com. For more information on Budafest, please visit www.budafest.org.
