Dripping Springs Swears In New Mayor, City Council Members

New Members were sworn into office at Tuesday Night’s Dripping Springs City Council Meeting.

Former Mayor Pro Tem Bill Foulds was sworn in as Mayor, replacing Todd Purcell, who stepped down following serving the City as Mayor since 1999.

Foulds had been serving as City Council Member Place 3.

Incumbent Wade King, who ran unopposed in the last election, was sworn in again as Council Member Place 2.

April Harris Allison was sworn in as Council Member Place 4, replacing Council Member John Kroll, who chose not to run again in the last election.

Taline Manassian, Council Member Place 1, was appointed Mayor Pro Tem.

Former Mayor Todd Purcell was sworn in as City Council Member Place 3, which was vacant due to Bill Foulds becoming Mayor.

Purcell’s Council Member Place 3 term will expire May 2021.

At the City Council meeting, both Todd Purcell and John Kroll were commemorated with an Award and a Resolution recognizing them both for Excellence in Public Service.
