Ten to fifteen of those artists will be selected to create a mural on a wall at Ella Lofts with all materials provided.

Ella Lofts plans on sprucing up their walls with murals from different artists, which will reflect the beauty of San Marcos.

They are looking for “committed, creative, and enthusiastic artists” said Darius Nesby, a representative from Ella Lofts. He said, I “know that they will be big pieces,” and that they don’t have any “definite dimensions.” Looking forward to the event, Darius hopes that everyone that participates has fun and gets creative.

By the way, the best mural wins $2000!

The mural must showcase some part of the city of San Marcos in an original artistic way.

They are currently accepting submissions from artists. Ten to fifteen of those artists will be selected to create a mural on a wall at Ella Lofts with all materials provided.

If you want to submit some examples of your work and enter the “Mural Mayhem,” you can email Darius Nesby along with any other questions at darius.nesby@ellalofts.com.

All submissions are due by April 23, 2017. Out of the 10 to 15 artists selected, the artist with the winning mural gets $2,000. The final vote will be up to the residents of Ella Lofts.

Good luck artists!
