Ellen Troxclair Named Travis County Campaign Chair For Jason Isaac For Congress

A current Austin City Council member and prominent Travis County conservative leader, has been named the Travis County Chair for the Jason Isaac for Congress campaign.

AUSTIN — Ellen Troxclair, current Austin City Council member and prominent Travis County conservative leader, has been named the Travis County Chair for the Jason Isaac for Congress campaign.

“I am thrilled to see Jason Isaac step up to run for Congress. I have seen firsthand his strong work ethic and commitment to conservative values and know that he’s the real deal. I cannot think of a better person to fight for our values in Washington. Jason will outwork anyone to drive the conservative agenda in Congress,” said Troxclair.

Rep. Jason Isaac names Ellen Troxclair as Travis County Campaign Chair for his congressional campaign.

Troxclair is the only conservative among the 10-member Austin City Council. She is the council’s leading voice for limited government and low taxes and is widely recognized as one of the most prominent and respected Republicans in Travis County.

Travis County represents 27% of Congressional District 21, or nearly 190,000 people.

“I have a great deal of respect for Ellen Troxclair and the hard work she is doing to stand up for Austin families and taxpayers. She models the kind of Texas fight our campaign wants to bring to Washington. I am excited to have her join our team as we build this campaign’s momentum to fight for conservative results and make America like Texas,” said Isaac.

Isaac currently represents Hays and Blanco counties in the Texas House, where he is consistently honored as a “Courageous Conservative” by the Texas Conservative Coalition and was named “Legislator of the Year” by the Texas State Rifle Association for his leadership in defense of the Second Amendment.
