Emergency Operations – MISSING/FOUND ANIMALS

If you have found a pet in the Wimberley area and don’t know the owner, please take it to the Wimberley High School, 100 Carney Lane. Authorities there are coordinating reuniting lost pets with their owners. Owners of missing pets are encouraged to stop by and see if their pet has been turned in. Stop by between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  If you have a found pet but can’t bring it to the school, call Hays County Animal Control at 512-393-7896.

If you have found or lost a pet in the San Marcos area, visit the City of San Marcos Animal Shelter at 750 River Road or online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/smtxfloodanimals.

Because displaced animals may be far from home, authorities recommend visiting area shelters if you have lost a pet.

If you have livestock on your property and don’t know the owner, contact Hays County Animal Control at 512-393-7896
