Enjoy Heart Of The Holidays With Wine Walk, Farm To Table Dinner

The Heart of the Holidays officially kicks off in downtown San Marcos on Nov. 11 with the Wine and Wassail Walk, followed by a Farm to Table Dinner on the evening of Nov. 12.

Tickets to both events are now available online at www.smtxwinewalk.com.

The third annual Wine and Wassail Walk will start at the Hays County Historic Courthouse from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 and continue to 15 downtown stops all featuring fall wines curated by Patio Dolcetto, homemade wassail and paired hors d’oeuvres.

In addition, the wine walk will showcase a wine pull supporting Maurice T. Suttles VFW Post 3413 in Kissing Alley.

As an added bonus, Love Downtown pedicabs will offer ticket holders free rides along the route. Pre-sale tickets are available for $25 each or $30 at the door.

The San Marcos Farmer’s Market and Main Street have paired up to light up the evening on Nov. 12 with a Farm to Table Dinner featuring locally sourced food from the San Marcos Farmer’s Market.

The four-course meal will be prepared by chefs in downtown establishments and served family style in Kissing Alley, 121 E. Hopkins Street.

Paired wine will accompany each course and finish with locally roasted coffee and dessert. Pre-sale tickets are available for $40 each or $45 at the door and will be limited to 50 guests.

Both events are 21+ only.

Information and tickets for the Wine and Wassail Walk and the Farm to Table Dinner can be found at www.smtxwinewalk.com. The full event line-up for the Heart of Holidays can be found at www.sanmarcostx.gov/mainstreet.
