Best Friends For Life Returns

Registration is open for the Best Friends for Life (BFFL) inclusion program.

Sponsored by the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department and Texas State University’s Therapeutic Recreation graduate program, BFFL is free and open to the public.

Children ages 3-13 are invited to attend on Mondays, beginning on Feb. 27, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins.

The program will last for six weeks but will not meet on March 13 due to Spring Break.

Participants are encouraged to bring their best friend, such as their mom, dad, sibling, or neighbor.

Activities will include crafts, games, music, swimming and more. The program will conclude on April 10 with horseback riding at SOAR, a therapeutic horse ranch in San Marcos.
