Spring Break Camp Returns For An Exciting Week

The school break is quickly approaching and can be stressful for working parents to find childcare.

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department encourages residents and non-residents to take advantage of Spring Break Camp, March 13-17 from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the San Marcos City Park Recreation Hall.

Our great staff will keep your children, ages 7-12, active and entertained during this week.

At Spring Break Camp, activities include games, crafts, two field trips to the San Marcos Discovery Center for environmental education lessons, a field trip to the Fiesta Lanes Bowling Alley, hikes around the parks, a picnic, and more.

Cost is $150 per child for the entire week. Children must bring their lunch each day and a morning snack if desired; an afternoon snack will be provided.

Registration opens Feb. 1 at the Parks and Recreation Main Office, 401 E. Hopkins, in person or by calling 512.393.8400. Space is limited.
