SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – Just like turkey and dressing, the Thanksgiving tradition continues this Nov. 28 – 30 when Eye o

f the Dog Art Center (EOTDAC) in San Marcos will host its 24th annual Home Show and Holiday Sale.  Nearly 40 different area artists will be displaying and selling their custom creations, including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, painting, assemblage and sculpture.

“It’s hard to pick a ‘favorite child’, but out of all the events we’re involved with each year, the Home Show really is special to me,” says Beverly Mangham, event co-organizer and co-owner of the growing Art Center she and her husband Billy Ray Mangham have been creating on a 12 acre site since purchasing it in 1989. “We get to see diverse artists and their works as well as so many dear friends who come out each year to see the show and support the artists that it truly is a holiday tradition,” she adds.

The campus of EOTDAC offers those who attend the show a true visual treat. The eclectic site features a mix of art installations, unique buildings — including a large studio and Gallery – and a wooded courtyard that serves as home to an outdoor kitchen, stage and more than 30 vendor booths.

As always, this event is free to enter and park and will feature a Gala Opening with live music from the Tom Cat Trio a

nd refreshments Fri. from 5- 9 p.m.; Kids Clay Play and Live Music Sat. from 10 a.m. – 5p.m. ; and an extremely laid back vibe to wrap up some gift shopping Sun. from Noon – 4 p.m.

EOTDAC is located at 405 Valley View West Rd. in  San Marcos. For more information about their 24th  Annual Home Show and Holiday Sale, please call  (512) 558-1723,  email:beverlymangham@gmail.com or visit  www.eyeofthedog.com
