Members of the Tim Fenu Farmers Insurance Agency brought 27 large boxes full of school supplies to the San Marcos CISD Central Office.
As part of Farmers Insurance Thank America’s Teachers School Supplies Drive, aimed at collecting school supplies through its local Farmers agents and employees, employees collected a variety of school supplies in support of local schools, students and teachers.
Thanks to the donations of many Farmers employees in the greater Austin area, more than 700 pounds of supplies were collected for the San Marcos CISD.
Farmers is proud to be part of communities across America and happy to assist in providing students of San Marcos CISD, and many other schools, the tools necessary to succeed. In addition to the supplies drive, Farmers donates more than a million dollars in grants to teachers in schools across the county reach year through its Thank America’s Teachers program.
Farmers is also actively involved in the St. Bernard Project rebuild of Central Texas, helping to rebuild homes in the community impacted by the two floods that ravaged the surrounding area in 2015.
