Flash Flood Warning For Parts Of Central Texas

A flash flood warning is in effect until 5:30 PM for Burnet County, Central Hays County, Western Travis County, and Western Williamson County.

Residents are asked to be careful on the roads and avoid low water crossings.

Residents can also follow road closures throughout the area at atxfloods.com.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Kyle, Buda, Burnet, Dripping Springs, Bertram, Anderson Mill, Tanglewood Forest, Leander, Lakeway, Lago Vista, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills, Hudson Bend, The Hills, Liberty Hill, Woodcreek, And Bear Creek.
Additional Rainfall Amounts Of 1 To 2 Inches Are Possible In The Warned Area.
