Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® Scholarship Movie Night

The Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® hosted their 2016 Scholarship Movie Night on Thursday, June 9 to benefit the scholarships of their Association. A total of $4500 was raised with their efforts. In 2016, the Association gave out twelve $1000 scholarships. In 2017, they hope to give our twelve scholarships. The movie for this year’s event was Forrest Gump and members came dressed for the occasion.

 

Over 60 people attended the event, and Infernos Pizza offered food and refreshments.

 

FRAR’s next fundraising event will be a bunco and washers tournament on October 27 at Freiheit Country Store in New Braunfels.

 

The 12 recipients of the 2016 Four Rivers $1000 Scholarships are;

  • Margaret Ballay, Jack C. Hays High School
  • Matilda Rodriguez, Canyon High School
  • Robert Alex Briseno, Seguin High School
  • Ryan Albert, Wimberley High School

 

The costume award winners were:

Best Costume – Kathy Carl with Keller Williams Heritage and Matt Toney with New Braunfels Title Company;

 

Most Participation (real estate office) – Keller Williams Heritage;

 

Most Participation (affiliate office) – New Braunfels Title Company.
