Fourth Annual Chick-fil-A “Cow Classic” Golf Tournament To Benefit HCWC And CASA

On Friday, May 22nd Chick-fil-A San Marcos and Kyle will host the 4th Annual Cow Classic Golf Tournament benefitting Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center and CASA. The annual event will take place at Quail Creek Country Club in San Marcos, shotgun start is at 9:00 a.m.  Raffles, mulligans, “hit the cow” and other prize-winning competitions will be available. If you hit the cow, you win Chick-fil-A free for a year!

Since 2010, when Chick-fil-A opened their doors in San Marcos, they didn’t want to just feed the community but also wanted to give back to the town that has given so much.  Soon after, Chick-fil-A Kyle joined in the efforts to give back to their community and partnered with HCWC and CASA which serve both communities. Over 84 golfers participated in this event last year and proceeds totaled $10,866.68 for HCWC and CASA. If you’re interested in participating or sponsoring in this year’s event, there is still time. Contact Christa Garcia at (361)549-1663 or by email at cowclassic.smtx@gmail.com .

The Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center has a 38-year history of serving women, men and children in Hays and Caldwell Counties who are victims of sexual assault, child abuse and family violence. All HCWC services are free and confidential and available 24/7, 365 days a year.  For more information please visit www.hcwc.org or call (512) 396-HELP.
