Wear your Halloween costume and join Terri Hendrix for a free family concert at the OYOU Halloween Hootenanny on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at the San Marcos Public Library, 625 E. Hopkins.
OYOU – Own Your Own Universe – is a 501c3 nonprofit organization established by Hendrix in 2012 and based in San Marcos.

Hendrix aspires to get music and the arts to the  folks who need it most. She imagines OYOU as a venue where anyone, regardless of age, physical ability, or income can enjoy music, arts, crafts and shows in a supportive environment.

While OYOU continues to seek a permanent home, it works as a mobile nonprofit-on-wheels bringing free family concerts, like the Halloween Hootenanny at the San Marcos Public Library, to locations across San Marcos.
