The Friends of the San Marcos Public Library will host the city’s first citywide spelling bee for adults.
Teams of three will compete for best team name, best costume and best speller as part of a fundraising event for the library. The money raised will go to support the San Marcos Public Library. Residents 18 years and older can participate.
Teams can register at the library. The spelling bee will be held at Aquabrew on 150 S. LBJ Drive in San Marcos. Aquabrew is a local eatery that supports the community, features chef-inspired foods, and offers a unique environment.
Come show off your penchant for fabulous spelling, enjoy amazing local foods and beverages, and support the educational programs at your local public library.
