AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Transportation will close the southbound SH 130 mainlanes this weekend so crews can safely install overhead toll equipment, weather permitting.
Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 10, crews will close the southbound SH 130 mainlanes at the Cameron Road exit (#432). Drivers will be detoured to the Cameron Road exit to travel through the toll gantry and re-enter SH 130 just north of Cameron Road.
All lanes are expected to reopen no later than Monday, July 13 at 5 a.m.
Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closure. Last year, crashes in Texas work zones rose 3%, so please use extra caution when traveling through the area to keep our workers safe.
