First United Methodist Church – San Marcos held their annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser in October and this year, FUMC-SM selected HCWC’s Roxanne’s House to receive 100% of proceeds.
Roxanne’s House is Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center’s Children’s Advocacy Center serving local victims of child abuse from Hays and Caldwell County.
In 2016, HCWC – Roxanne’s House served 410 children and 292 adults with crucial services such as forensic interviews, family advocacy, court preparation and individual counseling including play therapy.
Roxanne’s House also coordinates a multidisciplinary team working in partnership with local law enforcement agencies, child protective services, CASA and district attorney’s office.
