Funeral arrangements and donation information are being announced for slain San Marcos Police Officer Kenneth Copeland.

Funeral arrangements and donation information are being announced for slain San Marcos Police Officer Kenneth Copeland.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Old RR 12, San Marcos TX 78666. The public is welcome from 2-10 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Community Bible Church, 2477 TX Loop 1604 San Antonio TX 78232, Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. Internment ceremonies will follow immediately on the church grounds.

Donation information

For direct donations to the family:

  • Make checks payable to the San Marcos Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association (SMCPAAA)
  • Please write “Ken Copeland” in the memo line
  • Checks and cash can be dropped off or mailed – San Marcos Police Department, Attention Brenda Pisana, 2300 S. IH-35, San Marcos 78666

For donations in honor of Ken Copeland:
