Gary Job Corps Students and Staff donated $356.80 to the San Marcos Youth Council and partnered with San Marcos Embassy Suites, Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union, Homewood Suites, and Workforce Solutions to donating cookies, and Valentine’s Day cards, from Little Britches Learning Academy, to the San Marcos Youth Council and San Marcos Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The Gary Job Corps Community Relations Council serves as the springboard of the volunteer services in the community for over 15 years.
The Gary CRC has held fundraisers for many of the natural disasters from the fires in Bastrop to the floods in the local community, also in raising funds for the San Marcos Youth Council, Hays Caldwell County Women’s Center, San Marcos Animal Shelter, and Martindale Library to name a few.
