Gary Job Corps students from the Corrections/Security, HOPE, Green Committee, Student Government Association, staff members, and representative from the Green Group participated with the Adopt-a-Highway program cleaning up 2 miles of Hwy 21 in front of the San Marcos Airport, Quail Creek Country Club and Gary Job Corps Center.
The Gary Corrections and Security Cadets adopted the Gary Park as a Memorial to PFC Kristian Menchaca, fallen Gary Job Corps Corrections/Security graduate, losing his life in Iraq.
