San Marcos CISD released the following statement.
“Earlier this summer, law enforcement officials contacted the district regarding allegations of possible misconduct by a Goodnight employee. The district immediately placed the employee on administrative leave and cooperated with law enforcement.
While the district was cooperating with law enforcement officials during the investigation, notification to the community on the allegations was based on when the police would allow the district to share any information. A letter to the campus community will be sent home informing them of the situation that has taken place.
In San Marcos CISD, the safety of our students is paramount as we strive to maintain a safe learning environment for all students.”
