Hands Of Hope Annual Tea N’ More Returns To The Price Center

“What I love most about the Tea is it feels like a fun throwback to the 50’s. The ladies who attend wear big, decorative hats and dress like people did in that era when they would attend church or a wedding,” said Charlotte Evans, lead coordinator for Hands of Hope.

The Price Center will again welcome the Hands of Hope Annual Tea ‘n More fundraiser on Sat., March 25.

The beloved annual fundraiser for Hands of Hope, an ecumenical ministry providing under-educated and disadvantaged women an educational program, consists of a high tea, more than 2 dozen beautifully adorned tables set by table hostesses, a fashion show put on by Chico’s and a silent auction. Tickets are available now and are accompanied by a suggested $20 donation.

All funds generated by the Tea ‘n More will directly benefit Hands of Hope, which provides an array of life and job skills, as well as bible studies and academic classes.

“What I love most about the Tea is it feels like a fun throwback to the 50’s. The ladies who attend wear big, decorative hats and dress like people did in that era when they would attend church or a wedding,” explains Charlotte Evans, lead coordinator for Hands of Hope. “Another special aspect of the annual gathering that I love, is all the women who are currently going through our education program will be there to meet and greet all those who attend.”

The Tea ‘n More will take place throughout the Price Center’s historic rooms and venues. A high tea will be served in the Tea Room and 1910 Room, the silent auction will take place in the 1893 Room and the fashion show travels between the two dining venues. The Price Center also serves as a rotating art gallery so guests will be encouraged to look around and enjoy the various works of our featured artists and clubs.
