Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center To Host First Designer Purse Bingo

The Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center will host their first Designer Purse Bingo on Saturday, October 26 at the Lockhart Evening Lions Club.

All proceeds for the event will benefit local victims and survivors of family violence, dating violence, sexual assault and child abuse in Caldwell and Hays Counties.

Tickets are $40 and include 20 rounds of bingo, dinner and drinks. The prize for each round of bingo is a designer handbag. The event will also include a silent auction as well as door prizes. The auction will include vintage designer handbags, a turntable and more.

Tickets can be purchased here. Attendees are encouraged to dress in purple to support October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month or a Halloween costume or come as you are.

Last year, HCWC served 2,111 victims face to face. HCWC served 35 percent more victims in Caldwell County last year than the year before, for a total of 379 Caldwell county victims.

Children are welcome but due to limited seating, each attendee must have their own ticket. Follow HCWC’s Facebook page for event details and updates.

HCWC has provided services to Caldwell County residents for 41 years, where they continue to provide free and confidential services, including counseling and advocacy. They maintain an office in Lockhart to better serve Caldwell county victims.

There are many ways to support this event, including being a Sponsor, donating a new designer handbag, or attending with friends and family. To hear about the fabulous benefits of being a sponsor, please contact Zoe O’Balle at 512.396.3404 or Zoe@hcwc.org.
