Hays Central Appraisal Districts’ 2016 Preliminary Appraised Values

The Hays Central Appraisal District is scheduled to start mailing 86,300 appraisal notices on June 6, 2016. Property owners that receive a notice of appraised value will have until July 6, 2016 to file a protest to appeal to the Appraisal Review Board. Property owners can file a protest at the Hays Central Appraisal District office, located at 21001 N. IH 35, Kyle, Texas 78640, call (512) 268-2522 or visit our website at www.hayscad.com.

Residential multi-family property saw the biggest increase in value by 28.21%, from $1.17 billion in 2015 to $1.50 billion this year. This increase was due to new construction, completion of new apartment projects and a strong demand for multi-family housing.
