Hays CISD Launches District Dashboard

Hays Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) launched the Hays CISD Dashboard today, providing parents, staff, and community members easier access to critical data related to district performance.

This interactive tool allows users to search campus, district, regional, and statewide information related to four data categories: students, academic, financial, and staff. The Dashboard links to sources such as the state’s Texas Academic Performance Reports and others from which it pulls data to share in a user-friendly format.

The Dashboard is the newest in a series of tools the district has launched to engage stakeholders in an ongoing partnership. Last year, the district introduced Let’s Talk!, the communication tool which connects stakeholders with district administrators on interests by topic area. Additionally, the district’s financial department launched the Financial Transparency page, which has earned the district a platinum-level transparency award from the Texas State Comptroller’s Office.

“The district believes its partnership with all stakeholders is essential. Part of nurturing that partnership is providing information to our parents and community so they can understand how Hays CISD is performing; but more importantly, ensuring they can participate in the conversation on how we can improve,” said Superintendent Michael McKie. “This Dashboard is our newest way of encouraging that dialog and providing a higher level of transparency.”

The Dashboard is accessible by PC, Mac, or mobile device via the district’s website at: http://www.hayscisd.net/dashboard. It is also available on the Hays CISD app.
