Hays CISD Looking To Approve Hiring 94 New Positions At $4.5 Million Per Year

The Hays CISD Board of Trustee’s during Monday’s meeting (agenda item N. 11. below) will hear from Elaine Howard, Hays CISD Chief Human Resource Officer will be recommending the hiring and early release of the following 94 new positions for $4.5 million per year.

Campus ($406,000)

  • 3 Teachers – $165,000
  • 1 Turn Around Plan Administrator – $101,000
  • 1 PEIMS Para HS – $30,000
  • 2 Hall Monitors HS – $30,000
  • 1 PK Aide – $25,000
  • .5 Nurse LOA – 27,500
  • .5 Teacher CTE – $27,500

Special Education ($1,185,000)

  • 4 Speech Pathologists – $83,000
  • 2 Diganosticians – $110,000
  • 2 LSSP’s – $110,000
  • 1 ARD Facilitator – $55,000
  • 1 Occupational Therapist – $27,000
  • 1 Curriculum Specialist – $55,000
  • 729 Instructional Aide –  $745,000

Operations ($130,000)

  • 1 Custodial Warehouse Assistant – $40,000
  • 2 Maintenance Personnel – $90,000

Curriculum & Instruction ($295,000)

  • 1 Director of C&I – -$97,000
  • 1 CTE Secretary/Bookkeeper – $44,000
  • 1 Para Support C&I – $44,000
  • 1 AVID FTE – $55,000
  • 1 PK Instructional Coach – $55,000
