Hays CISD will operate on a normal school schedule on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The decision was made in consultation with our district’s weather service and Hays County emergency operations officials. A limited number of roadways may still be damaged by recent flooding, or may still have water over them.
Please exercise safety first. Turn around – don’t drown.
Special Note for Blanco Vista Elementary School – Time Warner Cable is in the process of repairing key infrastructure in the Blanco River area that was affected by Sunday’s flooding. This means the landline phones will likely not be working at the school. If you need to contact the school, please call the district’s main number at 512-268-2141, or email Principal Rebecca Shea at shear@hayscisd.net.
Thank you,
Tim Savoy
