Hays County Commissioners plan elections workshop….everything from the process to new voting equipment

The Hays County Commissioners Court plan to include a workshop on elections at its July 11 meeting (the Court will not meet on Tuesday, July 4).

The official agenda will not be released until the the Friday before the scheduled meeting.

Any member of the public who has questions about the elections process or voting equipment is encouraged to attend.

The Hays County Election Commission will be meeting on Wednesday, July 5 to vote on recommending the Election Equipment Advisory Committee decision to purchase voting equipment.

According to the agenda the new equipment is from Hart InterCivic, Inc.

The Election Commission will be requesting that the Elections Administrator deliver the Committee’s recommendation to the Hays County Commissioners Court for consideration.

The Court will meet at 9 a.m. at the Hays County Courthouse on the Square, 111 E. San Antonio St., San Marcos on Tuesday, July 11.
