The Hays County Commissioners Court Tuesday was slated to receive an audit of several Hays County Sheriff’s Office accounts Tuesday.
The Fiscal Year 2018 Internal Examination Reports for the Sheriff’s Office Jail Commissary account, Sheriff’s Office Federal Discretionary Account and the Sheriff’s Office Drug Forfeiture Fund was performed in accordance with subsections 115.002 and 351.0415 of the Texas Local Government Code.
According to a letter attached with the report, the auditor was performed by Hays County Auditor, Marisol Alonzo-Villarreal, who reported that the receipts and disbursements of the accounts reviewed “appear to be adequately accounted for and the related records and supporting documentation appear to be accurately maintained in accordance with the statutory requirements under subsection 112.001 of the Texas Local Government Code.
The court voted 5-0 to accept the audit’s report with no discussion.
