Amplify Austin Day is I Live Here I Give Here’s annual event that brings Central Texas donors and nonprofits together in one 24-hour time period of giving.
Last year, more than $10 million was raised to assist 700 organizations. This year, I Live Here I Give Here hopes to raise even more.
Hays County Food Bank has participated in this event for the past four years, and hopes to engage even more donors this year.
Donate through amplifyatx.org. Search for Hays County Food Bank.
While giving can take place at anytime, donations given between6:00 PM on February 28 and 6:00 PM on March 1st qualify for matching funds and possible additional prizes.
Every organization receives matching dollars (on a pro-rata basis) provided by I Live Here I Give Here’s generous sponsors. Nonprofits also have the opportunity to win grand prizes and hourly prizes.
The more donations that a nonprofit organization receives on Amplify Austin Day, the more extra funds the nonprofit organization is awarded, providing extra operational funding to underwrite their community programming.
Donors have the power to help their causes secure those extra funds.
To donate, visit amplifyatx.org and search for Hays County Food Bank.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka is working with I Live Here I Give Here to spread the love during Amplify Austin Day.
Donate to your favorite nonprofit and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will add an extra $5 to your donation—just be sure to enter #LoveTitos when you check out. Tito’s will help maximize donations up to $10,000.
Lastly, the Shield-Ayres Foundation has offered a $10,000 matching grant to be distributed among all participating Basic Needs organizations, which Hays County Food Bank qualifies as!
There are plenty of ways to help amplify a donation this year, but people have to be sure to get involved. Set a reminder to donate during this 24-hours of giving, and make your donation count more. Go a step further and share your donation with your social media following. When people see your passion, they are sure to help spread the love.
Hays County Food Bank and Court Appointed Special Advocates of Central Texas are two of the many nonprofit organizations who are registered to receive donations during the Amplify Austin 24-hour Fundraising event.
