Hays County Offices To Close For Holiday

Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – All Hays County offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday, July 3-4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. The City of San Marcos Municipal Court, located in the Hays County Government Center in San Marcos, will also be closed. Commissioners Court will not meet on July 4.

Hays County Recycling & Solid Waste Transfer Stations (located in Driftwood and Wimberley) will be closed both days. Their regular hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information about accepted items visit http://www.co.hays.tx.us/recycling-solid-waste-1.aspx.

Hays County parks – Jacob’s Well Natural Area and Five Mile Dam – will be open regular hours both days. Additional information about County parks can be found at http://www.co.hays.tx.us/parks-department.aspx and Jacob’s Well has its own Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/JacobsWellOfficial.

All offices will reopen at their regular times on Wednesday, July 5.
