Early voting kicked off with a few technical issues at the San Marcos Government Center and the Dripping Springs voting location.

According to Jennifer Anderson, Hays County Elections Administrator, two voting machines had a connection wire issue at the government center.

Anderson said voters continued to run using six voting machines until the line of voters had gone down; the machines were later rebooted and ran smoothly for the remainder of the day.

A machine in Dripping Springs also experienced connection wire issues yesterday. After a tech reconnected and rebooted the system, there were no further problems.
