Hays County Courthouse, TX – Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) reports two (2) COVID-related fatalities: a Kyle woman in her 20s and a San Marcos woman in her 60s. This report covers
May 11-12, 2021. The department also reports 28 new lab-confirmed cases along with seven (7) new hospitalizations and five (5) new hospital discharges. There are 35 additional persons considered recovered. The total number of persons considered recovered is 17,993.
The current total of lab-confirmed cases for Hays County since the beginning of the pandemic is 18,634. Hays County has 398 active cases. In the past 21 days there have been 655 active cases. Hays County has had 869 total COVID-related hospitalizations and 16 people are currently hospitalized.
