UPDATED: Hays County Sheriff Seeks Missing 23-Year-Old From Wimberley

UPDATE: Missing person Evelyn Avendano-Acosta has been located in North Austin unharmed and safe.

More details will be sent out tomorrow about how she was located.

On July 15, 2020, at approximately 5:00 PM, Evelyn Avendano-Acosta, a 23-year-old female, left her residence in the 500 block of Wayside Dr. in Wimberley, TX, on foot and has not returned.

Evelyn did not take her purse, phone, or identification with her.

Evelyn is described as a 23-year-old Hispanic female, approximately 4’9” and 100 pounds.

She has black hair and brown eyes and is approximately seven (7) months pregnant.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, unknown color of shorts, and unknown footwear.

If residents have seen Evelyn Avendano-Acosta or have any information regarding her whereabouts, call the Hays County Sheriff’s Office at 512-393-7896.
