Hays County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Two Suspects For Conspiracy To Commit Murder

While at the residence, Morgan and Ertel were each armed with a knife and engaged in behavior that led the victim to believe his life was in imminent danger.

On November 30, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a victim was lured to a residence on Mount Sharp Road in Wimberley, Texas and met with the known suspect Nevaada Morgan at this location.

Also present was suspect Steven Ertel, who was unknown to the victim.

While at the residence, Morgan and Ertel were each armed with a knife and engaged in behavior that led the victim to believe his life was in imminent danger.

The victim fled the area and immediately contacted 911. A subsequent investigation uncovered evidence which supported the facts that Morgan and Ertel conspired to murder their victim.

Morgan and Ertel were arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Murder and are currently in custody at the Hays County Jail awaiting magistration.
