Hays County Sheriff’s Office Seek Missing Kyle Man

Hays County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to locate a missing person, Omar Maya-Rangel, 32-year-old Hispanic Male.

On December 28, 2018, Omar left his home in Kyle, Texas, in a green Ford Expedition bearing Texas License Plate: GYZ2390.

The vehicle was located in Caldwell County near the Blind Salamander RV Park (2025 N Old Bastrop Hwy) on December 31, 2018.

Personal belongings of Mr. Rangel were found inside the vehicle. An initial search was conducted; however, Mr. Rangel was not located.

According to his family, Mr. Rangel has recently been experiencing mental health episodes and has lost considerable weight; accordingly, Mr. Rangel’s appearance will be thinner than the attached photographs.

Mr. Rangel is 5’9” tall, has black hair and brown eyes. It is estimated that he currently weighs approximately 130 lbs. There is no information regarding his clothing description at the time of the incident.
