Hays County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help Locating Suspect

Citizens are advised not to attempt to apprehend or arrest suspect themselves.

Hays County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the community to locate the suspect, who is wanted for sexual assault of a child and property theft.

A warrant has been issued for 20-year-old Osiel Castaneda Rojas for the “continuous sexual assault of a child” and property theft of $2,500-$30,000.

The suspect is a 5’06” Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair. HCSO believes he is somewhere in the Bastrop/Austin area.

 Hays County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for any leads leading to Rojas’s arrest.
