Hays County SWAT team arrest male suspect

At approximately 4:28 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, Hays County Narcotics deputies attempted to serve a search/arrest warrant on a male individual at the Saddle Creek Apartments located at 21393 IH 35 in Kyle, TX.

The suspect refused to come outside and barricaded himself inside the apartment. The Hays County SWAT team was utilized and the male suspect came out of the residence and was apprehended without incident.

The individual is identified as Juan Oscar Zamarron, DOB: 05/05/1963. Zamarron was charged with marijuana possession, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. 

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information is available at this time, however, there is no danger to the public.
