Yesterday, Hays County and local governments released their closures for the Thanksgiving holiday schedule. Below are Hays County, Buda, Kyle, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, San Marcos, and Texas Disposal System.

All city offices, including the Buda Public Library, are closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, in observance of Thanksgiving. The library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Offices will reopen at their regular times on Monday, November 30.
Dripping Springs offices will be closed Thursday, November 26, through Friday, November 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Hays County offices will be closed Wednesday, November 25 through Friday, November 27, for Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen at their regular times on Monday, November 30.
Hays County Parks will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2020 (Thanksgiving)
The Hays County Recycling & Solid Waste centers will be closed on November 25 – November 29; reopening for normal business hours on Monday, Nov. 30
*Commissioners Court will not be held on the following dates; December 1, 15 & 29.
All Kyle city offices and services will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26 & Friday, November 27. The city will reopen at their regular business hours on November 30.

City of San Marcos offices, including City Hall, Activity Center, Animal Shelter, Municipal Court, and Utility Offices and drive-thrus, will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26 and 27, the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Library remains closed until December 1, when they will reopen in the new half of their building.
San Marcos Municipal Court, located at the Hays County Government Center at 712 South Stagecoach Road, will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 25, in addition to Nov. 26 and 27, to coincide with the Hays County holiday facility closings.
The Animal Shelter Receiving and Reclaiming department will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26 and 27, to coincide with other City offices.
Regular office hours will resume Saturday, Nov. 28 at noon. Emergency animal services are available by calling the San Marcos Police Department non-emergency line at 512.753.2108.
The Activity Center will be closed from Thursday, Nov. 26 through Saturday, Nov. 28, and will open for regular hours on Monday, Nov. 30. All-City offices will reopen at usual times on Monday, Nov. 30.
CARTS 1517 interurban route from San Marcos will not operate from Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Friday, Nov. 27. Services will resume to the current extended schedule Monday, Nov. 30. CARTS 1510 will operate regular hours on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and will not operate on Friday, Nov. 27.
Local San Marcos “The Bus” route will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 26. Routes will run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 27. “The Bus” route will continue to be fare-free until further notice. Passengers on all bus routes are encouraged to wear proper face coverings and practice social distancing.
The San Marcos Station / Greyhound station will operate regular hours on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 27. The San Marcos Station will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26. Riders may purchase interurban daily and monthly passes on the HopThru App.
Passes are available for purchase at Plaza Saltillo, located at 412 Comal St. in Austin, or the San Marcos Station located at 338 S. Guadalupe Street. For public health concerns, proper face coverings are required.

Customers planning to go out of town are asked to put their carts on the curb no earlier than 7 p.m. the night before the scheduled pick up and return it to the house as soon as they return.
Residents who will be gone all week are encouraged to ask a neighbor to take their trash cart to the curb on their trash day and return to their home after pickup.
San Marcos Regional Airport Management offices will be closed Thursday, November 26, through Friday, November 27, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
