Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center invites all community members to join them for their first-ever Virtual Live and Silent Auction.
This year, coronavirus has forced HCWC to make some changes to their annual auction, but HCWC and the people they serve need support from the community.
The theme for 2020 is Mask-erade so get comfy on the couch, grab the phone and a computer or tablet and get ready to have a great time for a good cause!
The Livestream will begin Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 7 PM and will last about an hour. The event is best enjoyed using two devices: watch the Livestream on the computer, tablet or internet-enabled smart TV and bid from a smartphone.
Bidding will open for the Silent Auction and the Golden Ticket Raffle will be available for purchase on July 9, 2020.
The silent auction will feature a variety of items and gift certificates donated by local businesses and supporters.
The Golden Ticket raffle winner will have their choice of Live Auction items on the night of the event.
For up to date information and to check out pictures of auction items, follow our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/AnnualAuction4HCWC/.
Admission is FREE, but participants must register to bid at www.bidpal.net/HCWC.
Last year, HCWC provided face to face services to 2,307 local victims of assault and abuse and continued to see an increase in demand for services throughout the year.
When COVID-19 happened, HCWC quickly modified all services to address safety concerns.
“Now, more than ever, it is essential that HCWC be available to provide free, confidential, and life-changing services to victims of abuse and assault,” HCWC said.
The Mask-erade will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about HCWC and connect with neighbors and community members to give back in a meaningful and fun way!
